So on April 21, my mom and I randomly decided to go on one of our many adventures. This time we went to Washington DC, not too far from our home. I have been living in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area since I was about 7 years old and I had never visited the White House up close before! I know shocker right!? But is what you find with many people who live in big cities. You would think they would spend all their time in the city-- which some do but for some, doing touristy things in the city where they live isn't something that comes to mind often. BUT, this day we did and we had a blast!
